Defensemen use this drill to work on your defensive skating. This drills has three major parts: the ladder step, the surf and the net cut. In the ladder step make sure you are not crossing your feet so you do not get crossed up in a game. In the surf make sure you understand where to place your stick to take away passing lanes. For the net cut make sure you take the inside lane cutting off anyone who is chasing you.
