And I've tried letting a guinea and a chicken raise the keets to disastrous effect. I let the chicken hatch the guineas, putting a few chicken eggs in on about day 7-8 so the hen won't have done the setting for nothing!

Although unless you specifically bought them as french guineas, they are probably jumbo. Guineas tend to be like a flock of sheep, following role-models. Chickens make good role-models for guineas. However, the ratio has to be good. There should be more chickens than guineas if this is to work.

2009年4月27日 · Guineas appear to be vicious, actually they are but usually they can take it. Its part of the Guinea dynamics. That size run might work for that many Chickens but it won't for Guineas. They also need places for the low birds to hide to escape the tormenting of the rest of the flock. I didn't see that mentioned in your post.
