2013年11月4日 · Also it's on a single shot 45-70. I had a Bushnell on a H&R 45-70 it only lasted a year . The konus shotgun scope has been on for 3 years still going. Midway has a few reviews on there web site. A few of them mentioned being put on shotguns. Plus all the reviews were 5 and 4 star reviews . There wasn't any reviews on the scope when I bought mine.

2011年11月7日 · Most "shotgun" scopes are parallax set at 75 yards and rifle scopes are usually set at 100 or 150 yards. With today's slug guns a 75 yard parallax is no longer necessary. Some offer a bit more eye relief to help with heavy recoil.

They are generally paralax free (focused) at 75 yards and offer enough eye relief so you don't have to worry about getting busted in the forehead with the scope. Shotgun scopes take a beating due to the heavy recoil, don't go cheap. I have busted Tasco's and Bushnells.

2007年1月16日 · Typically the only differences are that a shotgun scope is parralax adjusted to 75 to 100 yards and most rifle scopes are parralax adjusted for 150 to 175 yards. The Parralax is basically the focus of the reticle. Some, but certainly not all shotgun labled scopes have a longer eye relief to deal with heavy recoil typicla of slug guns.

If you want to shoot the new wonder slugs out to 200...Instead of irreversably altering a versatile shotgun, simply buy another barrel with a cantilever mount.

2009年8月1日 · Leupold Shotgun 1-4x20 is the best for the woods. The 2-7x33 is a bit better in the fields if you're into that...but it has a tighter FOV. Anything more is a bit overkill IMO for a shotgun.

I don't know much about them, but I think the cheaper ones are made of aluminum and the more expensive ones are steel. Is the sight I use allows for easier to find your target. Being it is open like an iron sight. So you do not have tunnel vision, like you do with a scope.
