Jan 16, 2022 · I went with the M1102 for a few reasons. #1. Its Big! Maybe too big, but I wanted plenty of space. #2 Aluminum. I like the idea of the trailer being all aluminum. Rust isn’t an issue in Vegas, but the whole point of overland camping for us is to get out of Vegas. Knowing the chassis/body will never rust is a pro in my book. #3 Lug pattern.

Jan 21, 2015 · Both the M1101 and the M1102 trailer models can be towed by a HMMWV M1097/M1114 series in accordance with the identification plate. Due to the numerous model differences, for military use operators must refer to TM 9-2330-392-14&P to determine towing authorization for the M1101 and M1102 for the specific set of circumstances.

Oct 16, 2020 · The M1102 has two sets of Rivnuts ( 3/8-16 Threads) on either side of the trailer but not in the position I need them in, so I'm going to have to add one additional set per side in the middle for my middle supports. Planning to plasma cut these brackets out of 0.13in thick steel.

Oct 16, 2020 · Overall it sticks out an additional 4" compared to the Smittybilt but considering the amount of coverage it's well worth it. Very impressed with both the build quality of the awning and the included components. They provide plenty of guide ropes, additional poles, and stakes for windy conditions. View attachment 228749.

M1101 M1102 electric brake conversion with parking brake… How to
Oct 26, 2023 · The process: 1) Pull the wheels/drums and disconnect the parking brake cable. Feed the cable and housing back through the backing plate and tuck them out of the way. 2) Remove the brake backing plates. 3) Bolt up the new electric backing plates. There is a Right and Left hence the two part numbers.
