Some of the evidence the jury heard was from experts on burns, who said that the coffee was far too hot. The woman suing also didn't get as much money as she asked for as she was held partially at fault.

2019年9月21日 · The ideal temperature for brewing coffee is 205-195. And while hot coffee only only get more bitter and tastes worse if excess heat is applied. So really it should be brewed hot but not kept hot. This is why a lot of gas station coffee is so bitter and burnt.
