2024年1月13日 · For sale on this snowy Saturday is a brand new pair of American made, Black Danner Fort Lewis Boots. Size 9.5 EE. Tried on inside, never worn outdoors. Just couldn’t make them fit and feel right. Great boots for someone with a narrower foot. My last pair got me through 8 1/2 years of hard use. But my feet seem to have widened.

I have nothing against any particular brand, but bear in mind that most Made in China boots are literally just branded for whomever the reseller is and are sold to specific price points.

Guess I should go try on several different pairs and then put in another order with the online credit. After days of reading reviews on Danner snake boots, and other manufactures, I find that one has to be very lucky to find any snake boots that don't leak, including Danner. Also being non recraftible, and not made in USA, I decided that they weren't worth spending the extra 100.00.

2015年3月25日 · I happened to look at the soles of my 11 year old Danner 452 boots last night. I have worn through the out sole into the cushion layer of the heal. I now have a hole collapsed in the heal. I also noticed that the soles are broken all the way across at the ball of my feet. I have worn these boots an average of 3 days a week for the last 11 years.
