Oct 19, 2020 · There is an annoying bug in my chrome that causes a blinking cursor also known as "the text cursor," or "the insertion point" to appear wherever I click. For those guys who don't know what it is, it's the cursor that appears when you click on an element that you can edit on any website (like the comments section on youtube).

Jun 9, 2020 · Whenever I try to access Chrome Remote Desktop in full screen mode, the cursor vanishes. The resolution is too poor / choppy for me to use Remote Desktop not in full screen. I can't see what I'm doing. But when I go into full screen, my mouse disappears and I can't see where I'm clicking. Please help!

Apr 9, 2015 · I was having the same problem with my Chromebook 14 until I saw a suggested fix from one of the chrome forums. To solve the problem - when the cursor feezes or disappears - sharply tap underneath the touchpad (basically on the bottom of the chromebook) where the cursor has frozen or as close as the location to where the cursor disappeared.

Jun 18, 2017 · The problem keeps coming back. It is not a hardware problem because it is limited to the Chrome environment. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that the screen is touch and with win-10. This seems to be a problem disturbing many HP clients. I would be good to have a step by step instruction of everything that can be done.

The problem persists, but I figured out that if I hold down CTRL+SHIFT+TAB to rapidly sequence between the open Chrome tabs, and simultaneously press and move across the touchpad, sometimes the mouse cursor will reappear and become responsive again. But that's not an acceptable long-term solution. Good luck.

Feb 7, 2022 · Can someone please help. I have a HP Chromebook x360 14-da and all of a sudden my cursor has disappeared and I'm unsure wether my track pad is even working. I've tried: hard resets, pressing esc several times, I've cleaned the trackpad and I've put it into table top mode and then back to normal.
