If you can white salmon you can add a little katsup to add color and a little flavor. Some recipes suggest vinegar. I think it helps break down the bone tissue.

I grew up fly fishing for Steelhead and have hundreds of them under my belt on the fly rod and many more from other less exciting methods like bait and hardware.
