These objects are variously made of solid, cast or sheet gold with some covered in delicate leaf gold. This is the largest collection of Asante regalia in the UK and one of the most significant assemblages outside the Republic of Ghana. These objects are of cultural, historical and spiritual significance to the Asante people.
