All the cards I currently possess are issued by Indian banks, which are not compatible with Apple Pay for this specific test scenario. Although Apple Pay can be tested in a sandbox environment, I am using the Billwerk payment gateway. As confirmed by the Billwerk support team, Apple Pay functionality can only be tested in a live environment.
