S2721DS, second HDMI port 2048x1080 - Dell
2021年9月1日 · I recently acquire S2721DS. DP and first HDMI works fine, but not second HDMI port. When connected to the second HDMI, I will have 2048x1080 resolution instead of 2560x1440. Thats the highest available option. Same result with 2 different laptop and a desktop. The brightness level also abit bright. Also tested with several HDMI cable version.

2018年4月15日 · If I reinstall the Intel HD Graphics 4600 driver, the screen resolution switches to 2560x1440 as it should be. But next time I restart it goes back down to 2048x1080 and I have to reinstall the driver every time. The U2518D is connected via DisplayPort to my Z97-A motherboard as my primary monitor.

2021年7月18日 · I am struggling to get native resolutions 2560x1440 out of the Dell monitors that I bought new, under warranty. All I can get it 2048x1080. This is the max if I use the onboard Intel U630 graphics that come with the Optiplex 5060 SFF, or if I use a 2GB Radeon R5 430. It doesn't matter if I use display port connectors or HDMI.

2019年12月3日 · The fault could also be that the XPS 13-9360 TB3/USB Type-C out port is not sending enough bandwidth through that single USB Type-C to C cable to drive both monitors at 2560x1440 60Hz or that its onboard Intel GPU cannot drive them. Which is why the slaved U2719D is dropping down to 2048x1080 60Hz.

2019年5月26日 · I just replaced a D6000 dock with a WD19 dock on my XPS13 9370. I have two Dell U2718Q monitors, which are capable of 3840x2160, connected with DP on the dock to mDP on the monitors. I get one monitor at 3840x2160 and the other defaults to 1920x1080. The maximum I can select for the second monitor is 2048x1080, which is a blurry resolution.

2022年12月27日 · This card is seemingly limited to a top resolution of 2048x1080. I use my main Dell Monitor which can show resolutions up to 1440p. As of right now though, I can't figure out how to get the 1440p (2560x1440p) resolutions to show when attempting to edit my resolutions.

2022年2月8日 · I tried with a 1-year old high-end Precision 5820 with AMD Radeon Pro W5500 GPU (as mentioned before) that has 4 DisplayPorts . Maximum and recommended resolution showing up is 2048x1080 using a DP-to-HDMI cable. I agree the UltraSharp U2722 would be nice but seems a bit silly to spend $455 vs $320 just get an DP connection on the monitor.

2022年3月2日 · Meaning it would just go black for a few seconds then return. Completely random. I reversed the Daisy chain and now when i turn off all my monitors and come back to the PC the next day, turn them on. Then one of them will set to 2048x1080 or sometimes to an even lower resolution i think it was 576x something weird.

2021年6月3日 · @PhilippVogel First, determine whether the NVIDIA GPU actually has direct control of the display outputs.Many laptops with NVIDIA GPUs still have the outputs wired to the Intel GPU, and in that case you're limited to what the Intel GPU supports, which on a Core 8th Gen CPU like yours would only be DP 1.2.
