2016年5月14日 · They were originally the "IM6" series, when Tom Morgan ran Winston and Loomis supplied blanks built to Morgan's specifications. At that time (late '80s/early '90's) they were considered (arguably) the best rods on the market. The series was renamed "WT" when Winston began building their own blanks in-house from the same taper designs.

2020年4月13日 · The rod has a progressive profile but did not remind me at all of the 5s, especially in the butt. I later find a Loomis blank and it definitely feels similar to the 5. So to me, the difference between the Loomis and Winston blanks is much larger in the 4, than the 5.
