2016年11月8日 · Good idea. Timesavers has a pack of 12 6" spring/rods. If I mess one up I will have an ample supply to butcher. I think it is part # 29386. I did find the same clock (not working) on eBay and they show a picture of the back of the movement.

2024年9月11日 · I have 1930 Revere mantle chime clock purchased recently sn 166624 1930. Keeps time, chimes work, But NO strike unit sets the Rack for the hour but will not cycle the rack to STRIKE. LOOKS like parts have been removed.

2008年8月21日 · First Rule of Clock Disassembly: LET DOWN THE MAINSPRINGS before you do anything else. As for keeping track of the parts: Think of your clock as having three "sectors". (1) the time train (aka going train) —that set of wheels, from the mainspring/first wheel up to the escape wheel. (2) the strike train, from the mainspring/first wheel on up.

Their site search is pretty term-specific(I’ve found this searching for other things on their site), and if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for, it often comes up snake eyes.

I bought donor movement on Ebay and used parts from both to make one good movement.

2021年5月24日 · Aprox 2 metres tall case, has Enfield on the clock face and 'made in England' on the reverse. I've taken the back off the case and can confirm even though I do have parts missing (I'm pretty sure that where the top of the pendulum is currently hanging is not correct) it does run and at least some of the chiming mechanisms move.

2022年1月6日 · I replaced the suspension spring with spring material from timesavers for the Atmos clock. I disassembled,cleaned, and reassembled using all proper dimensions for regulator extension, etc. It runs well, but super fast. Gains 30 minutes every 12 hours. Adjusting top lever to the slow side has no effect.
