When the enemy pyro just keeps moving forward at you, you can easily flare punch him. Flare at mid to long range. This is pretty much prediction ,like hitting DH at mid~long range.

2014年8月2日 · Flare Gun is the easiest to get, basically, it just ignites and deals damage. Detonator is an upgrade to the flare gun. Napalm-like flares and ability to flare jump. The flare gun is great at helping pick people off who're pushing the cart or when the opposing team is using a corner/tunnel to peak out from while defending. Or when there's an obvious spot where people run past. You can essentially become an attacking class that doesn't need to get up-close & personal all of the time.

And each have their advantages. If the team are pushing the cart/ capping etc. the Detonator could be used to ignite everyone and engage panic mode.

2012年4月16日 · The detonator has nice added mobility, while the flare gun does full crits on burning targets. Go with what you feel is right. Detonator is more useful on some maps and less useful on others. You can also hit people around corners and obstacles with its alt-fire. Flaregun does a lot more in direct combat and straight corridors.
