The Modem itself unfortunately is just an off the shelf rebranded to T-mobile Askey modem. T-mobile could have ordered a custom modem for their network with antennas / antenna ports for the LTE, better firmware, better web interface, band locking, bridge mode, VPN, etc.

2019年11月21日 · You don't want a router, you want a bridge. Go to asus webui page and set your router ip (the one you get to the webui with) to 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 (because tmo modem is 192.168.1.1 and they will conflict).

Have yet to try this with the 5G gateway, but possibly going to find out if I get more than 64 devices on there. If there's a wired limit, then I will put all my light bulbs on a subnet ...

2020年1月10日 · I have the same problem with the T-Mobile branded cellular router with a pre-installed T-Mobile SIM. 2.4 dies and kills all my home automation with it. It drives me nuts. I've talked to t-mobile about it a couple time when I had time and they have no resolution other than restarting the router. This is not a solution.
