2013年2月13日 · The issue with Picidae plumage seems rife to me with "Just So Stories." Here we have a speculation that the "third party" species are all of nuthatches and Parids which form mixed flocks with Downy Woodpeckers... well, "often" and only in certain habitats, and much more rarely in places like California and New Mexico, but sure it happens.
