So this weird owl statue just randomly popped up on my farm
The way it happens is (and this is the same for the alien tube thing): Each night there is a 1% chance that you will see a UFO float across the top of the screen (for the alien tube) or hear an owl hoot (for the owl statue, not sure if there's a visual cue).

2021年12月10日 · I am under the impression that you need some basic empty space, in order for the statue to spawn. Also, there is a similar but different item, with the exact same name, sold at Night Market event ("owl statue"). Those are visibly different and have no relation whatsoever.

2018年7月30日 · The statue doesn't do anything but it's super, super, SUPER rare! If I remember correctly, you have a 1% chance of it triggering every night. Then it scans your farm looking for 50 clean tiles with nothing on them (no weeds, buildings etc...) and then either the Stone Owl or Strange Capsule spawns!
