Dec 7, 2024 · The snow coverage has never EVER been accurate in MSFS. Not a single day. Reason is: MSFS reads a very low resolution of the snow coverage map, which is not only inaccurate, but also totally wrong sometimes.

Oct 28, 2005 · The latter is in a large family of redundant mountain names that are mistakenly used in some English translations: For example, "Sierra Nevada Mountains" is similar to "Mt. Fujiyama" (the "Mt" is the "yama", so it should translate "Mt. Fuji") or "Mount Taishan" ("Mt" is in the "shan" so it should be "Mt. Tai").

If you don't like the method of 'Mt.' or 'zon' - referrals to schools which have had their names changed multiple times (sometimes against their will), then you should complain to the historians, don't complain to me. -Chas.
