2010年11月3日 · the issue of antifreeze was a concern, many moons ago. Back in the 80's, when aluminum radiator were kind of new thing, getting "aluminum friendly" antifreeze was a concern. Now, just about everything uses a aluminum radiator, with rare exception. reminds me, I gotta change the coolant in the bike.

2007年12月4日 · Anyone ever have a problem with antifreeze leaking after a ride? I went for a ride the other day put the bike away, no problem. Then I get home from work the next evening and I see a small puddle of antifreeze under the bike. I went for a ride about a week later and I could smell antifreeze but I didn't see anything dripping.

2007年10月12日 · Remove the Right Side Cover. The overflow tank is right there with level markings. You can check the antifreeze by putting a volt meter on - battery and + in the fluid. Should read .1-.3V DC. (.5V and up means the anti corrosion protectant has faded out). It is possible to add them back but it is better to just change the fluid at that point.

2005年3月8日 · Here is a tip: get a 24oz bottle of drinking water, like Deer Park, with the ‘sport top’ on it. After you drink the water, fill the bottle with the 50-50 mix of distilled water and antifreeze, and squirt it into the radiator to fill. Much easier than messing with a funnel, and a very easy way to get the mixture right.

2024年7月28日 · Current problem with the Motorcycle-Sometimes I get a fast idle and sometime when I start it up the idle is low -The bike runs fine when the engine is cold, but once driving for about 20 minutes the idle is very low like its running on one cylinder and often shuts off, hard to start and will not start until the throttle is opened a bit.
