Swinging 6 meter devices with low accuracy takes up a lot of space, is dangerous to compatriots and opens your battle lines way too wide. Meme hammer was only introduced very recently. And only became a viable option after the cooldown was reducrd. So if it was used in the past, it must have been recent history.
