For example in sentencing or dealing with crime, people with low IQs can be assessed to be less culpable. That is a good use of IQ tests.

2022年5月21日 · The ASVAB is (as the name indicates) a "vocational aptitude battery". It isn't designed to correlate to IQ. I suspect that there is some correlation, but likely not very strong. In that case there won't really be a direct mapping to an IQ. BTW, the old AFQT really was a IQ test.

2023年10月14日 · I believe if you actually increased your score to 145 (ASSUMING it wasn't a fluke) then you probably have a very high IQ and 113 that you scored on the IQ test years ago wasn't representative. I believe you should take better tests available here, preferably PRI based for example 1980s SAT-M, RAPM or CAIT (posted in the sub).
