2023年4月10日 · Sensafin is like Alcantara. Both are man-made materials. Alcantara has been used for premium applications for years now with brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and even the higher end Porsches tend to substitute leather for Alcantara. Carbon fiber is also man-made and often costs more than natural wood in many cases.

2022年9月7日 · 2023 you can either have sensafin, extended merino, or full merino. there is currently a shortage, so the X5 40i is only availabe in sensafin. the 45e and M50i can (last time i saw) still be optioned with extended merino leather.

2022年7月23日 · The discontinued "Mocha" interior color is very dark and I don't care for it. As far as trim goes, many do like the Anthracte-Brown Poplar Matte (which looks Grey in real life really), however I prefer the Brown-Metallic Ash with it.

2023年4月5日 · My M3 has Merino and I have been totally happy with the Sensafin in my X5. Its still new but I think it will hold up better than merino, requiring less care and worry about scuffs/scraps. I do have multi-contour seats which I think are fantastic.

2023年6月4日 · While BMW has had a synthetic leather for ages, Sensafin is new, so there's no long-term reliability results. While any sunroof can have problems, the LEDs are kind of neat, but not something you need. The massage feature is there to help prevent cramps or blood clots from sitting a long time.

2023年6月9日 · It's that time again and I need to choose a new X5. Currently driving 2021 Phytonic Blue Metallic with white Merino Leather (love the contrast). Leather looks great except drivers seat so want to try the Silverstone SensaFin because I honestly can't feel the difference and hear it wears really well.
