To put it in comparison minigunner deals like 70 dps when maxed out while the accel deals up to 230 dps when maxed.

There's also been a supporting argument to this that suggests that all TDS events supposedly required Accelerator. No, even solar eclipse was beatable without Accelerator. Another thing I hear often is that "It would make solo HC impossible"
