最近公布的一份美国政府报告详细列举了中国通过各种施压手段持续“侵蚀台湾及周边长期规范”的做法，包括增加越过台湾海峡中线的军机飞行频率。 虽然美国官员表达了严重关切，但是一些军事专家认为，华盛顿的回应并没有能够有效遏制中国的咄咄逼人。
