NetEase Games creative director Guangyun Chen has revealed 'Marvel Rivals' will get a new playable character "each half of the season" - which will be roughly every six weeks.

The Marvel Rivals tier list is proof of an inherent truth: not every hero (or villain) is built equally. In the competitive shooter’s season 1 (which added two characters, two maps, a battle pass, and skins ), every character is technically viable, but there are some who are obviously more powerful than the rest.

Marvel Rivals has been a pleasant surprise in the hero shooter genre. It's a fantastic Overwatch-style game with a ton of different characters and a unique game feel thanks to its increased speed and destructible environments.
