TORONTO — Cineplex says its box office revenue for December was up from a year earlier as movies released in November including Wicked and Moana 2 gained momentum.

Cineplex has opened its latest Playdium at CF Fairview Mall in Toronto. Notably, Fairview is the first location to have both a Cineplex theatre and a Playdium entertainment centre under the same roof.
