A form of gold mine finished in 53. There’s lots of interesting stuff around mining and some old buildings. You can see in a beautiful location. dennys34的完整评论

Independence Mine PARK is open mid June to Fall. You can go to online for updates. The lower parking lot is open for parking and snow fun or just great views of snowy Valley with Pioneer Peak and far to the left view of Knik Glacier and far right Cook Inlet. The road over the top is weather and summer dependent; fun but gravel washboard road.
