I plan to get reservations for The Broad. Do they come with in-and-out privileges? For example, can I spend some time there, leave and have lunch elsewhere, then get back in without having to get back in line?

Unfortunately not. The time spot will be lost. You must rebook. They told us that it helps with knowing the flow of patrons in the museum.
Both General Admission and Infinity Mirrored Room + General Admission tickets are released monthly on the last Wednesday at 10 am PT for visiting the following month. January 29...
